Wednesday, 30 July – Darwin

As usual the first task on arriving back in civilisation in to restock those vital food and drink items. We’ve done many of the tourist things in Darwin on previous visits so this time the main activity as a group was a visit to Mindil Beach Sunset Market.

The market has a large variety food to satisfy every taste and various forms of entertainment, including the ubiquitous tropical sunset.

Some of the boys went fishing on Darwin Harbour early one morning. After returning from the fishing expedition a quick calculation determined the fish we caught cost about $100 a kilo.
