Friday, 8 August – Victoria River

We broke camp early this morning in order to refuel, restock and recoffee at Katherine before setting off in a westerly direction towards WA. Tonights camp was at Victoria River roadhouse which provided an opportunity for fishing which we later realised was a fruitless endeavour because apparently the barra don’t bite until the buildup comes.
Husband Told To Amend Sign?
At least the sunset sight seeing was good, if a little warm for a climb to the nearby lookout. The day was rounded off watching Richmond vs Essendon battle it out in a very close game of footy.
