Monday, 30 June to Tuesday, 1 July - Marla to Alice Springs

On Day 4, our last day on the Track, we woke to a beautiful morning and then completed our drive along the Oodnadatta Track without incident. The Track has short sections of sandy corrugations with longer stretches being either clay or rock. Overall the track was in pretty good condition and a great experience.

We made it!
We are now on the Sturt Highway travelling in the direction of Alice Springs. During the day we passed into The Territory but the temperature is having trouble getting above 17 degrees. Late in the afternoon we turned off the highway to travel a fairly corrugated road to the Henbury Meteorite Craters for the nights camp.

Next morning we set off for Alice Springs to replenish supplies and to meet up again with Don, Lyn, Gordo and Kaz.
